Max as he is affectionately know could throw you all colours for your Fold. His sire was a spirited white Highland Bull, Kirkiboost Geal of Ardbhan bred in the Outer Hebrides. Max has some superb bloodlines behind him, his great-great-grandsire was Douglas of Hungerhill who sired Lord Angus of Old Greenlaw, Max’s great grandsire. Max’s dam, Sini Dhubh is a stylish black cow who has an impressive showing career, winning 19 breed championships and 26 first prizes, travelling from Yorkshire she took Reserve Breed Champion at Dalmally Show in 2004. Again some superb breeding with Rigg bloodlines on her dam’s side.
